Missing Australia

I turned some of my recent photos into wallpapers for my computer at work. While making them I realised that I really miss the beauty and people of Australia. I was asked if I regret coming to Canada. I don't think so, but Australia will always be home. And I will always be Australian.

With the accent? ;)

I'd like to ask checking "what's wrong with the accent?" Seriously though the world is a small place these days. Technology and air travel have made it so much smaller. You need to be where your skills can be used. Hopefully one day they will bring you home again so that we can just hop in the car to go visit. If we have to hop on a plane, well the positive side is we're seeing the world too. Mind you, once we've seen Canada next year you'll need to move somewhere else.

There's nothing wrong with an accent. Peter just keeps complaining that he'll lose it after being in Canada for a long period of time. I'd prefer it hanging around.

We don't realise that Peter has an accent. Still sounds the same to us (so far).

Yea, apparently he has to go back to "recharge" it :) Hope that's enough motivation to head home more often.

Last photo is excellent - http://picasaweb.google.com/peter.a.harvey/Wallpapers/photo#4981028787437436946 - where is it?

Last photo is Green Island I think. It's taken from the wharf, looking over the unsupervised snorkelling area.
