Cafe DSL

Cafe DSL is our regular seminar series here at the DSL, and as usual I ordered and paid for the pizza and softdrink. I've just filed my last request for reimbursement ($545.01) and noticed how much I've spent. $4162.20 over 3 years. That's $4162.20 for 511 round bits of bread with grease and questionable meat from the cheapest provider, with softdrink. And damn it tasted good. :)

What's a "Cafe DSL"?

Cafe DSL is a seminar series the DSL (Decision Systems Lab) runs. It grew out of a regular research meeting where one of the guys would brew coffee and bring it (hence Cafe DSL). One year we were trying to work out how to encourage people to come to it at 5 or 6pm. I pointed out that I was hungry and that providing food, as it was dinner time, would be a a good idea.
